Dr. Gautama Ramakanthan is a Gastoenterologist who is working as Director of Organ Transplant and GI Services, Transplant Hepatologist at Jupiter Hospital in Thane, Maharashtra. He started Liver Transplantation at Jupiter Hospital along with Dr. AS Soin from Medanta Hospital. He is responsible for the medical management of pre and post operative liver transplant patients. Dr. Ramakanthan is an adept in conducting upper GI, lower GI endoscopy and ERCP both diagnostic and therapeutic. Till date, he has managed about 100 liver transplant patients. 

He has accomplished MBBS and MD in General Medicine from Grant Medical College in Mumbai.
